Today we held a meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain as part of the preparation for the World Romani Congress, which will take place in Sofia from October 29 to 31, 2026.
During the conversation, opportunities for cooperation between Spain and OGI "Romengo" were discussed, as well as the role of international partners in establishing the congress as a significant platform for dialogue, unity, and the protection of human rights.
The meeting is part of a series of consecutive initiatives with diplomatic missions, EU member states, and global partners aimed at building broad international support for the upcoming event.
To the global Romani diaspora and the already registered delegates: Brothers and sisters from around the world, we continue with even greater responsibility and commitment. Sofia 2026 will be a place for a united voice, partnerships, and real results.
